Jack Barton OLD Ref

EDIT: Made his chest a bit more buff so he's not so scrawny.

Yes! I am entering my first OCT! (For those of you who don't know [cause I didn't for awhile] it's an Original Character Tournament.) And I'm entering this one,
So I decided to enter Jack. Cause he's just cool. :3
Audition deadline is March 31, so I don't know if I want to do a comic or write a story. Opinions?

Name: Jack Barton

Weapon: Twin pistols
Personality: Jack can be kind of sarcastic, but is patient. Which is a good thing.. He knows he has a shady past and uses it to get what he wants. He is very unlucky, especially at poker. However, he is addicted to the game because he really wants to win, even if it means cheating. He's not afraid of a fight and only backs down if the odds are not at all in his favor, which can lead to him getting hurt a lot. Jack is very street smart and is hard to fool.
Gem: Red, like his bandanna. Shaped like a star because he comes from Texas and it somewhat looks like a sheriff's badge... even though he's not one.
Backstory: Born and raised in Texas. His parents were immigrants from Germany and moved to the plains. Back then, his name was Jakob Ackerman. When he was 15, he changed his name and ran away from home. He ran into a group of cowboys traveling on a trail and they let him join. He's been riding in the country since. Jack has dealt in some very..... shady business... but no one knows exactly what he's done.
Fighting Style:
Jack, being human, has no special powers or anything, other than having a good eye for shooting, so he doesn't understand magic or anything of the like, even high tech machinery baffles him. He's used to a very primitive way of living out on the trails.
His main weapons are his double pistols, so he is a long range fighter. However, if you get close enough, he can deal a nasty punch. Years of wrestling with bulls has given him a little bit of strength.
He's used to wrestling cows and breaking horses. A few wild animals don't scare him. (too much).
Jack's not very fast other than his fingers pulling the triggers. He relies on strength for close range fighting. His main line of defense is to get his opponent first, daze them (if not kill them), and get the upper hand early.
He will discern whether or not you are friend or foe from afar by waiting for you to make the first move. He's very patient and doesn't mind waiting. If you're a foe? He will immediately pull out his guns and shoot. But if you're a friend? He'll probably sit down and have a nice cup of coffee with you while playing a nice game of poker. (easy money there)
